Electronic Commerce International (ECI) announced today that Auto Xtreme Service in Peoria, AZ has chosen ECI for secure transactions for their customers. Auto Xtreme, the top German auto repair specialist in the greater Phoenix, AZ area, is utilizing the TransArmor solution from ECI and the FD-35 PIN pad for EMV compliance which enables them to accept the new chip embedded cards.
Twenty first century merchants are constantly being targeted and attacked by sophisticated cyber criminals who want to steal data, as evidenced by several high profile data breaches within the past year. Now more than ever, merchants need an end-to-end solution that is easy to use but also deliverers the best protection available.
Auto Xtreme Service is relying on the First Data’s TransArmor solution from ECI to get the job done.
“I kept hearing about big box retailers getting breached and wanted to make sure that this did not happen to our customers or our business,” said David Boatwright of Auto Xtreme Service. “I also had customers wanting to use their new credit cards that have embedded chips that my machine cannot read. Jim Anderson with Electronic Commerce International introduced me to two solutions that answer all of our problems.”
The TransArmor solution Auto Xtreme Service is using is one of the only solutions on the market to provide dual-layered security for payment transactions: encryption and tokenization. Tokenization, the added layer, prevents card data from entering a merchant’s system, which is the ultimate measure in theft protection.
With the cost-effective TransArmor solution, merchants can better protect their payment card transactions, reduce compliance demands, and capture sales trends and consumer-level data to keep their businesses safe and competitive.
“I would highly recommend ECI to secure your customers’ data and to protect your business,” Boatwright said.
